UK tour for EK pop act

Pop rockers Single By Sunday are back on home soil with a brand new tour schedule after conquering the US.

The Lanarkshir­e foursome performed to tens of thousands of fans across the pond while on a three-month tour across America earlier this year.

And on the back of the success of their‘i Want You Tour’, guitarist Jonny Eakins, singer Josh Ladds (East Kilbride), drummer Jorge Wilson (Lanark) and bassist Jack Black (Kilmacolm) will start the New Year touring across five UK cities.

The‘three Times Louder’tour opens in Birmingham on January 10 and stops in London, Liverpool and Newcastle before closing at the Cathouse in Glasgow on January 18.

On their Facebook page, the band posted:‘we couldn’t stay away from you all as we had the most amazing time with you all on the‘i Want You’tour.

“So we’ve decided to kick off 2020 with a five-date tour! Now there’s some changes on this tour. Firstly, we are heading back to Liverpool for the first time in two years! ... Let’s have an awesome time and see you in the new year.”

Single By Sunday are a high energy, pop-punk band hailing from East Kilbride.

The unsigned band play pop-punk reminiscen­t of early 2000 acts like Busted and Mcfly.

Last year they embarked on a successful anti-bullying school tour in the UK followed by an anti-alcohol and drugs school tour in California.

While Stateside, they supported ex-guns & Roses drummer Steven Adler’s band Adler’s Appetite at the renowned Whiskey a Go Go venue in Hollywood.

They wrapped 2018 with a memorable performanc­e at‘first Night Boston’to a crowd of 50,000 and with television coverage by NBC10.

The band have released 4 EPS: Get Up Get Out, Atom Bomb, Watch Out World and Punk-u, along with singles Romeo and Nordoff Robbins charity single Say What.
