Season favourites
Hamilton Town House have a packed autumn and winter season ahead, with something for all the family.
This October, fans of the ballet can head to the venue to see The Nutcracker.
The Russian National Ballet presents the show after their sell-out performances of Swan Lake last year.
And they return to the UK to enchant with the delightful production of The Nutcracker – a charming and kindly fairy tale that is one of the jewels of Tchaikovsky’s repertoire.
This eternal seasonal favourite will be an unforgettable experience in the run-up to Christmas and an ideal introduction to audiences of any age to the magic that is classical ballet.
It promises to be a wonderful treat full of glitter for the whole family.
The show will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at 7.30pm.
Children’s favourite The Gruffalo will be brought to life on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20.
Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories’magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo...is there?
There will be songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged three and up and their grown-ups, in the much-loved show that has toured Britain and the world.
There will be two performances each day.
