We will meet for prayers in the church on Tuesday and Thursday of this week at 9.15am. Please join us, and if you can’t come along, hold in your prayers the folks in the community, especially those in the Cander Centre.

Coffee morning is at St Ninian’s on a Tuesday, from 10am to 11.30am.

Hope Cafe is on Thursday, February 6, 10am to 2pm in the church hall.

Articles for the Spring issue of the Link magazine are to be with Avril by Sunday, February 9.

Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, February 9, will elders please meet in the small hall at 10.45am.

The next guild meeting is on Monday, February 10, at 7.30pm. There has been a change of speaker, as Sarah Jane will be in Kitega, so we will have the beetle drive on that night, and Sarah Jane will attend the next meeting in March.

Book Group will meet on Sunday, February 16, and the book to read is Entry Island by Peter May.

The Community Council are holding a meeting on Monday, February 17, at 7.30pm in the Lifestyles centre. The NHS will be represented, and also MSP, you are encouraged to attend this meeting.

Do you have donations for Leprosy Mission? If so, can you pass them on to Anne Cowan as soon as possible?

At the last Session meeting, Sadie collected money from elders towards a hamper, to be raffled from now until March.

If you were not at the meeting and would like to give, please speak to Sadie. Raffles for the hamper are now on sale, at £2 each.

Stewart also had dates set aside to speak with smaller groups of elders, to discuss what they thought being an elder meant, and where did they see St Ninian’s going in the years ahead.

RVS are looking for volunteers to assist serving meals and helping with the hospital trolley. Please speak to Myra Pate or Margaret Macgregor.
