How have UK and Scottish Governments performed?
Very confused. Only bit we are all sure of is wash your hands? Jane Thomson
Too little too late. The people seem to have more common sense than our government. Conflicting information.
Nicola Allan
Great job so far. Steven Wilson
Honestly, they could be doing better.
Stephy Farrell
Far too slow to introduce the measures they announced today and they have not gone far enough. Jan Hamilton
We really don’t know what to do. So many conflicting messages. We need a unified plan of action organised between the UK Government and the Scottish Government. Especially for small companies (not in the restaurant, pub or retail sector) who don’t know which way to turn for their employees who don’t have the option of working from home. Jacqueline Mcshane Higgins
Telling people to avoid social contact and not attend gatherings but schools and nurseries still open. Totally conflicting advice. Anne Jamieson
As a pub owner the statement made today was the worst news for us and all pub owners.
Joanne Mcmann
Too little too late. Kelly Cook
Good job.
Pauline Davies
Too little too late, need to shut our schools, protect our elderly. Sharon Stodart
Shambles!
Alan Mctaggart
They have had more opportunities to get a plan in place than places like Italy and Spain.
Margaret Gibson
I think we need to take precautionary measures. But let’s not panic.
Rose Lee
I don’t think they are testing enough people who are presenting with the symptoms, just giving them advice on self-isolation and medication. We will never know the exact amount of people who have actually had it.
Brenda Mckelvie
I understand that the situation is changing at pace but conflicting information is not helpful.
As of today we are in self-isolation for precautionary reasons and following the guidance.
I called NHS inform as I have a son about to sit exams not showing any symptoms and was told that he could go about his business as normal, then tonight the press conference announce whole families where one person has symptoms need to isolate for 14 days.
Clear concise advice would be great and reduce stress on people who are worried enough already. Susan Wight
The biggest menace right now is the bulk buying of food and other essentials by absolute idiots.
They are creating a bigger crisis on top of everything else.
The retailers could stop it overnight if they wanted but they don’t care, they’re quids in.
If idiots behave like there’s a war on then let’s have rations too!
