-

Police Scotland will continue to maintain a positive relationship with the public by operating within the following guidelines in relation to Covid-19 calls, namely:

Engage: Ask whether an individual is aware of the government request; establish individual circumstances and how quickly someone can comply.

Explain: Outline the risks to public health, and to the NHS in line with government guidance.

Encourage: Ask for voluntary compliance.

Enforce: If faced with non-compliance and only as a last resort.

There has been an increase in breach of bail incidents within the past week, with 10 offenders being traced in direct breach of the conditions imposed on them.

These conditions include individuals who have been reported in relation to alleged domestic assaults, anti-social behaviour, violent crimes or prolific crimes of dishonesty.

Officers from Police Scotland will continue to enforce these restrictions on a regular basis.

On Friday, May 15, officers executed a drugs package on an address in Blantyre where they seized over £10, 000 worth of drugs.

A report is being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

During the early hours of Friday, May 15, a 41-year-old female from the Stonehouse area was arrested for allegedly committing a number of housebreakings, thefts and vandalism in the Stonehouse area.

During her arrest she was also found in possession of alleged controlled drugs
