ON THE BEAT Moving toward Phase 3
Withinspector
The Scottish Government has announced further relaxation of coronavirus lockdown legislation and guidance as it moves into Phase 3 of its route map out of the pandemic.
The change allowing people to meet indoors represented the highest risk taken so far in the relaxation of the lockdown.
It has been indicated that Phase 3 may last longer than three weeks as the impact of the changes are assessed.
I wish to make it clear that, as Scotland moves through the different phases of the route map, there will be a corresponding move away from enforcement towards asking people to take personal responsibility and apply their judgement based on public health guidance.
