Hamilton Rugby Club are taking steps to ensure they can safely re-open – even if that causes a delay.

Covid-19 safety officer Alan Clisby has compiled a risk assessment to ensure the club are compliant with Scottish Government, Scottish Rugby and sportscotland guidelines.

Secretary Ali Anderson said:“we understand that this cautious approach delays opening of the bar facilities for our members, but as a committee, everyone’s health and safety is paramount.”

The club have brought in Azurblu Facilities Management to undertake a full deep clean of Laigh Bent, ahead of any opening.

Ali continued:“we hope that you will be reassured that our facility will open when it is safe to do so for all to enjoy.”
