Fighting for your attention

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

These former breeding dogs have been used to a farm environment and will need patient help to adapt to a domestic routine, ideally in pairs or with another confident dog.

All have exceptional, loving temperaments and we can supply medical assessments. They will be sterilised, vaccinated, microchipped and insured for four weeks. Foster homes may be considered.

This welfare exercise will cost about £5,000, so if you are unable to help with a home, we would be very grateful to receive any donations towards the costs of giving these lovely dogs a future.

ARE you a cat person or would you prefer a Westie? Comedian Harry Hill might say: “There’s only one way to find out!”

But instead of watching a fight between TV researchers, one dressed in a Westie costume and one wearing a large rubber cat head, simply read on and decide.

We have five West Highland terriers – to give them their proper title – four girls and a boy, all about six years old, looking for permanent loving homes after being signed over by their owner because of illness. has been turned upside down and was quite nervous when he first came to us.

With lots of TLC, Joey is slowly coming out of his shell and proving to be a lovely, friendly boy.

This very handsome young man would love to be part of a new family where he could enjoy his home comforts and the love and attention he needs to continue building his confidence.

Please get in touch if you can offer Joey a secure and happy future in his forever home.

The RSPCA has many more animals that have been abandoned and are waiting for you to come and take them home.

Please ring 01895 833 417 or visit our website – at www.rspcahillingdon clinic.org.uk – to download an application form if you are thinking about adopting.
