HILLINGDON duo Ron Bryant and Fanny Speck emerged victorious in the GLL 2014 Better Club Games table tennis competition – but for another borough.

Bryant, a retired Uxbridge postman, and Speck, who plays table tennis with Eastcote, were granted the opportunity to play for Ealing because they are members of sports clubs there.

In what turned into a reverse of last year's final, Bryant and Speck beat their Waltham Forest opponents, 11-7 11-5 in a match watched by more than 400 spectators.
