Extend a paw of friendship to these two

-

W

EREALLY did have a frightful week last week – not only was it Halloween but with all the fireworks we saw a huge number of stray animals coming into our care, especially cats, and our numbers are rising fast.

The RSPCA urges all animal owners to get their pets micro-chipped so that we can reunite owners and pets back together.

If you would like to book your animal in for micro-chipping for just £10, then please ring the Hillingdon clinic on 01895 231435 to book an appointment.

Meanwhile, needing homes this week are two lovely girls wanting a chance of happiness.

Lilly is a tricolour Chihuahua aged about six years old. Beautiful Lilly is one of many dogs who came to us from a home where the owner had been hoarding animals, and had really not given them the normal sort of life any dog deserves.

As a result, Lilly is generally a little nervous and needs help building up her trust and confidence.

She appears shy when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you she is very affectionate and revels in the sort of attention she has missed out on.

She is very happy with other dogs but she may take a while to adapt to a normal home life and is not house trained, so really is looking for a special home with someone who has the News from the Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor, Kingston and district

branch love and patience to show her the ropes.

Please get in touch if you can help show our Lilly how good life can really be.

Then there is Nicki, a female tabby cat aged five months, who enjoys an active lifestyle and loves her playtime.

She was signed over to us when her owners were moving and couldn’t take her with them.

Being such an affectionate girl, she really misses the love and company of a family although since being at the centre she has made lots of new friends – her favourite being a 12-week-old kitten who is a constant playmate.

Please get in touch if you can extend a paw of friendship to Nicki with the offer of a home.

If you think you can offer Lilly or Nicki a loving home then please ring RSPCA Hillingdon Branch on 01895 833 417 or visit our website www. rspcahillingdonclinic. org.uk to download an application form.
