Labs need homes before Christmas

-

TWO loveable ‘labs’ desperately need homes this week – let’s see if we can get them adopted before Christmas!

Owning any pet is a big responsibility and a lifelong commitment but can be very rewarding, and these labradors are just looking for a second chance to be part of a family.

Lady is aged seven to eight years old and it is always especially sad when an older dog like Lady finds herself homeless through no fault of her own.

A black example of the breed, she is a happy and friendly girl who just loves a cuddle, preferably sharing a comfy snoozing spot on the furniture.

Lady is being treated for a skin problem which has affected the condition of her coat and really needs lots of TLC and a loving home to spend her retirement years in.

Could your family squeeze up a little and make some space on your sofa for this lovely girl?

Then we have Brae, a handsome chap, two years old and one of the yellow variety of labradors.

Brae is a lovely young dog who came into our care as his owners did not have enough time for him. He is a very friendly boy with loads of energy and loves nothing better than a game of ball.

News from the Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor, Kingston and District branch

He has not previously lived with other cats or dogs but is fine with children, although he would benefit from a bit of extra training and is looking for a home that can offer him an active lifestyle – plus all the love and attention he needs and deserves.

Please get in touch if you can offer our lovely Brae the forever home he is looking for.

So as another year draws to a close, all the staff at the Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor, Kingston and district branch of the RSPCA really want to thank you for your support.

Every year, our self-funded branch helps more than 10,000 local animals in need, including many who sadly find themselves homeless through no fault of their own.

At this time of year, please spare a thought for all the homeless animals looking for warm, loving homes and bear in mind that any donation, however small, can make such a difference.

Thank you for your support. We could not do it without you.

If you think you can offer one of our animals a permanent home then please call the branch on 01895 833 417, or visit our website www. rspcahillingdonclinic.org. uk to download an application form.
