Teen rail fan wins top
after shooting and editing a video showing his passion for trains.
The 17-year-old, who lives in Martin Close, Uxbridge, was taking part in an annual filmmaking competition run by the Youth Rail Enthusiasts Association.
A former student of Vyners School, in Warren Road, Ickenham, Sam said he wanted his film – What Railways Mean to Me – to show viewers how he got interested in trains, what he likes about them and how the people he met through his interest have helped him through difficult times.
