Rise above it all with the launch of Drayton Heights

-

no doubt that the UK housing market has a ver y impor tant impact on the economy and on society as a whole, therefore, statistics on house prices are of key impor tance and there is a clear need for a definitive official and accurate measure that provides comprehensive coverage of residential proper ty.

At the moment there are a number of indices to gauge the situation and the news that a revamp is due with a new single House Price Index (HPI) for whole of UK planned is ver y welcome. This news follows consultation launched last year by the organisations currently responsible for publishing house price data in the UK; the Land Registr y, Land and Proper ty Ser vices, Nor thern Ireland (LPSNI) and the Office for National Statistics Registers of Scotland.

The discussion looked at a proposed methodology for a single definitive HPI and gathered views on whether it would meet requirements. The feedback was that the majority:

Welcomed the proposal for a single official HPI and the clarity this would bring to house price statistics.

Backed the continued publication of supplementar y analysis and data alongside the HPI, for example, the Land Registr y Price Paid Dataset.

Wanted a better explanation of the methods used to produce the HPI and consistent data using any new methodology as far back as possible.

Accepted the additional time required to process the new index and the greater accuracy and coverage it would provide.

Wanted clarity on how the new index will be published due to concerns about the same data being published across different websites.

A business case has been drawn up recommending the implementation of the proposed new single official HPI, and there will be work to ensure a full and consistent back series for the new index that can be published back to 1969.

Officials will also investigate using the GOV.UK website as the central publication point for the new monthly index to publish a final version of the methodology by early summer 2015 if the new index is approved, which looks ver y likely. EST Drayton is changing fast. The imminent arrival of Crossrail and the high speed links this will provide to the West End, Canary Wharf and beyond is fuelling a demand for new homes in the area.

Add to this the proximity of main road and motorway networks, Heathrow Airport, Brunel University, peaceful canal-side vistas and Stockley Park with its world-class businesses and it’s easy to understand why.

The Weston Group’s latest collection of new-build apartments, Drayton Heights, has been designed to reflect West Drayton’s new-found confidence, with contemporary exterior styling matched by interiors that measure up to today’s demanding lifestyles.

With a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments available, this collection of 44 homes is spread over three floors.

There’s also the added benefit of a private, south-facing courtyard for the exclusive use of residents and their guests, a great place to soak up the sun on summer days.

Interior layouts have been carefully planned and considered to create stylish living spaces that flow cohesively from one to another.

Open-plan kitchens/living rooms are equipped with a range of integrated appliances including gas hob, single oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/ dryer.

Bright, white bathroom suites are complemented with quality chromium fittings and a number of two bedroom apartments enjoy the advantage of an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom.
