OME on down to The Fairway, Ruislip Golf Centre on Friday, June 5, for an award winning night of comedy, with the Ruislip Comedy Bunker, starring Carl Donnelly.

The Ruislip Comedy Bunker has kindly offered a proportion of ticket sales for the event to go to RSPCA Middlesex North West. In fact £5 of every ticket sold will go directly to help rescue and care for locally abandoned and abused animals.

“We cannot thank the Comedy Bunker enough for their kind support.

“At this time of year, when we’re inundated with abandoned kittens who all need a warm bed, food and veterinary care, we are desperate for funding,” says Aileen Scheers, from the branch.

Carl started performing stand-up in 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians. His conversational, silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007 among others) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland.

He’s also appeared on various TV shows including Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and Comedy Store.

Carl will be supported on the night by Matthew Osborn, English Comedian of the Year 2009, and winner of the Channel 4 So You Think You’re Funny comedy competition and Ivo Graham who was nominated for best newcomer in the 2010 Chortle Awards., and the 2009 So You Think You’re Funny New Act Competition.

If you would like to come to the event at Ruislip Golf Centre in Ickenham Road, Ruislip, HA4 7DQ, doors open at 8pm, and the show starts at 8.30pm.

Tickets are just £12.50. To book, call Aileen on 0208 429 5604.
