Delightful tortoiseshell lady looking to bring luck to a home of her own

THE RSPCA Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor, Kingston, have many tortie cats from ages of eight weeks up to 10 years.

Tortoiseshell describes a coat colouring found almost exclusively in female cats.

These cats, with their colourful woven coats, provide a veritable feast of colours they have resemblance to the fallen leaves of autumn, and they are believed to bring good luck in the folklore of many cultures and where sometimes referred to as money cats.

Tortoiseshell cats tend to have much more of a distinct personality, many tortoiseshell owners believe their cats have increased attitude and they call it “tortitude”.

Torties are almost always very active and playful, with sassy, in-your-face attitudes.

They also often fancy themselves as alpha cats. Torties can be very affectionate and loving, even though some of them may not want to be held for long.

Jessie ( pictured) is a year old and a delightful playful little lady. She loves to give gentle “kisses” and have lots of attention. She really enjoys someone playing with her and her toys – jumping about and showing off all the time. Her previous owner said she didn’t get on with her child, so to avoid the risk of Jessie being caused any more stress, we are looking for a home for her with no children or other cats. Jessie can appear shy at first but a little patience and time spent with her soon pays off, and she’s so worth it. Please get in touch if you can give the lovely Jessie a new start in life.

We have baby guinea pigs and rabbits looking for loving forever homes if you think you can offer them the care and space that they need please contact the branch.

We have many kittens/ cats and dogs looking for loving homes and this can be very costly on the branch if you could spare any old bedding for the animals or donate any food however small can make such a difference.
