City partner first for solicitor who rose through the ranks
RUISLIP resident Pavani Reddy has become the first Asian woman to become a managing partner of a City of London Law firm.
Born in the Andhra Pradesh region of India, she qualified as an advocate and came to the UK where she transferred her qualification to that of an English solicitor with Zaiwalla & Co.
She rose through the ranks becoming a Partner in 2005 and is now Managing Partner for the company.
Pavani heads up the litigation team at the law firm, handling multi-million pound disputes in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. She was awarded the Gold Award for Woman of the Year (Asian Achievers Awards, 2010) and the Glory of India Award for her outstanding performance in the legal field (2012).
She is married with a six-yearold son.
