Developers are gnawing away

THIS week I received a letter from John McDonnell MP who arranged a meeting at Charville Community Centre in Hayes on Tuesday (July 28) to discuss yet another attempt to erode our green belt land to developers.

It was not so long ago that the residents of Hayes End Road area, Charville Estate and surrounding area fought off one such attempt and now it has been discovered to be ‘on the market’ again.

I appreciate that land is at a premium but gnawing away at precious green belt is not the way.
