Amblers stroll to finals

UXBRIDGE Amblers Men’s Walking Football Club have progressed to the southeast regional finals of the National Walking Football Cup.

This is to be held at Uxbridge Leisure Centre’s all weather enclosure on Sunday, August 22, at 2pm, where competing against the Amblers will be teams from Chelmsford, Stevenage, Aylesbury and Lambourne. Spectators are welcome to attend.

This follows victory in the recent Southern Counties tournament at Woking FC by the Amblers, who were only formed as recently as last September to provide a sporting activity for the over-50s.
