Ger­aghty tre­ble paves way for 14-goal win

WEST Dray­ton Ex­plor­ers U8s Blues com­fort­ably de­feated Old Wind­sor 14-1 af­ter a hat-trick from Stan­ley Ger­aghty and two goals apiece from Ma­son Spring and Jack Tay­lor.

The U9s Reds cruised to a 10-2 win thanks to goals from Joe Ros­siter, Tris­tan Vil­lacru­sis, Ethan Cupido and Euan Hlubanyana, who each scored twice as Harry Todd and Ja­cob Hughes added to the score­line.

Mean­while, the U14s pro­gressed to the next stage of the Mid­dle­sex County Cup af­ter fend­ing off Elite Magic 6-3.

A man of the match ef­fort from Pa­trick Hickey and a great Rocky Rokas strike were not enough for the U9 Pur­ples, who fell to a 2-1 de­feat against KS Gryf.

U7s Reds saw off S4K 7-3 thanks to a dou­ble strike from Odeiro Adams, and goals from Gabriel Atkins, Harry Macfadyen, Cairo Jones.

Ex­plor­ers U10s se­cured a 5-0 win at Town­mead, while the U12s had an Amari Adams hat­trick to thank as they beat FC Cip­pen­ham 4-0, with Al­fie Tay­lor also scor­ing.

The U11s Reds won their open­ing nine-a-side league match 5-2 thanks to goals from Josh O’Dell, Jor­dan Kan­danga, Ray Bel­fon, Cian John­son and man of the match Thomas Hickey.

Mean­while, Ex­plor­ers were awarded the Mid­dle­sex FA’s De­vel­op­ment Club of the Year ti­tle for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year.

Sen­sa­tional Kayleigh Cur­rivan ran the show for Den­ham United Ladies U15s in a dom­i­nant win over Crys­tal Palace at the Den. Cur­rivan banged in six goals in a 10-2 vic­tory for the girls to leave them joint top of the ta­ble af­ter the open­ing two week­ends.

Yas­min Gar­cia also weighed in with a brace while there were fur­ther strikes from Mad­die Vil­day and Katie Ack­er­man to com­plete the job.

Amy Hold­croft’s free-kick was not enough to pre­vent the U14s slip­ping to a 2-1 de­feat at Har­vesters, while the U13s lost 2-0 to Ruis­lip Rangers.

Fiona Bar­clay smashed in four for the U12s in an 11-2 win over Lark­spur Rovers, Mad­die Kirkby and Fiona Bar­clay adding a cou­ple each, Tara Jhawer scor­ing a hat-trick and Is­abelle Gar­raway and an own goal to round off the score­sheet.

Den­ham United Ladies se­niors played out a goal­less draw with Ip­swich Town while the re­serves beat Enfield thirds 10-0 thanks to goals from Char­lie-Leigh Dixon (4), Emma But­ler (2), Alana Maria Laza­nis, Me­gan Payne and a brace in her first game for Krystal Clarke. HILLING­DON’s Kian Pan­javi claimed a weightlift­ing sil­ver medal at the Com­mon­wealth Youth Games.

The Barnhill Com­mu­nity High sixth form stu­dent fought off stiff iff op­po­si­tion­iti t to add dd to an im­pres­sive year of com­pe­ti­tion.

Pan­javi (pic­tured) pre­vi­ously qual­i­fied for the Com­mon­wealth Youth Games by earn­ing a gold medal at the Bri­tish Youth Cham­pi­onships, set­ting a new per­sonal best in the process.

The weightlift­ing prodigy will be com­pet­ing at the Euro­pean Youth Cham­pi­onships in Oc­to­ber.
