Still not laughing at all this judging

- PAT SALTER Grosvenor Avenue Hayes

X FACTOR, Strictly Come Dancing, Bake Off, Master Chef, BB etc AND their awful spinoff shows. Give us a break please!

These shows are filled with building up contestants hopes, then dashing them brutally in front of millions, criticising contestants efforts both culinary, vocal and physical.

How dare these “judges” and television shows use others’ discomfort, embarrassment and hurt for the entertainment of millions.

Millions, who I should add, who relish, laugh at and tune in to mainly see those – who cannot answer back – tongue-lashed by others with inflated egos.

Indifferent to the possible lasting hurt, disillusionment and insults all in the name of entertainment.

I am not jealous but I do not – in

my opinion – find people dancing, cooking, trolling about in an invented house etc particularly entertaining. Yes, people should have a chance to show talent but not be at risk of public humiliation.

People who may possibly be a little reserved in showing their true colours for fear of being lambasted for their genuinely held opinions.

To those I say ‘Be proud of your thoughts and don’t be ground down by others who may mock’.

They, after all, are the sheep meekly following the others with little or no thought about those who fall before the end FAME and all that entails.
