Denham Ladies delight in League Cup wins

KAYLEIGH Currivan and Jessica Stickley both hit four for Denham United Ladies U15s in an emphatic 11-0 win over Ascot.

Charlotte Parrett weighed in with a brace and Julia Thurauf also got in on the act.

Denham’s U14s are through the quarter-finals of the League Cup after knocking out Hoddesdon with a 4-1 triumph in Hertfordsh­ire. oals were scored by Alisha Bajwa, Shania Foley, Jess Fitzgerald and Naomi Hickey, who neeted on her debut.

The U13s are also through to the next round of the cup after a 2-0 victory over Bishop’s Stortford thanks to a Grace Nwoseh brace.

There was also a win for the U12s who beat Hampstead 1-0 courtesy of Tara Jhwer’s effort.

Denham United Ladies’ firstteam suffered a heartbreak­ing 1-0 reverse to Fulham Foundation while the reserves enjoyed a 4-0 win at Alexandra Park thanks to one from Megan Payne and a CharlieLei­gh Dixon hat-trick.

Amy Martins notched twice in a 7-2 loss for the senior developmen­t against Crystal Road.

Meanwhile, West Drayton Explorers U7s Blues grabbed their first win of the season as they beat Burnham 6-1 with four from Kennedy Kit-Jinni and Daniel Tekle also among the goals. The U7s Reds lost 10-1 to Burnham.

Mason Spring got four, Stanley Geraghty bagged three while Jack Taylor, Remi Kowalczyk and Igor Zelechowsk­i all notched in a 10-0 triumph for the U8s Blues.

Joe Rossiter smashed in a hattrick for the U9s Reds in an 11-0 win over Thames Valley. Charlie Penil (2), Tristan Villacrusi­s, Euan Hlubanyana (2) and Matthew Keane were the other scorers.

Ayman Hassane, Bertie Rodriguez-Owens, Callum Hayworth-Sharp and Christophe­r Burton scored as the U9s Blues put eight past Old Windsor.

The U9s Purples drew 1-1 with Phoenix, the West Drayton goal coming from Samuel Mikale.

Explorers’ U10s beat Slough Town 8-1 with four goals from Hayden O’Toole, two from Louis Bunn, and Ranvier Jamagotre and Jake Pickett also netting.

Ray Murray hit four while Thomas Hickey, Aiden Edwards and Sammy Spasov also netted in a 7-3 win for U11s Reds this week.

Jaiden Brookman bagged two and Mo Bah, George Rowlands, Finley Wilkinson and William Dunster all scored in a 6-1 away win for the U11s Blues. Armari Adams (2), Flynn Withers, Jayden Blackwood and Hunayn Abbas AliZaidi all notched for the U12s in a 5-1 win over Bessingby.

The U14s beat Ruislip Rangers 11-2 with Brandon Pritchard scoring four, David Galjak (3), Jack Storey (2), Matthew Cousins and Mudasir Kubari all on target.

Braces from Zak Gee and Charlie Rogers helped the U15s triumph by 11. Ted O’Brien, Ben Cini and Kamal Yousef were also on the scoresheet. And Townmead Youth U9s beat Delaford Colts 4-1 with George Bailey and Harry Scott among the scorers.
