Camera, camera, in my hand – who has the best pic in the land?

COMPASS Theatre in Ickenham is offering free pantomime tickets in return for the best selfie, writes Anne Suslak.

The theatre is showing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from December 11 to January 2 and the contest idea is for people to take a photo of themselves on the theme of ‘Magic Mirror’ and the most entertaini­ng or original entry will receive four VIP tickets and a backstage tour to meet the cast – as well as ice cream in the interval.

Runners-up will have their selfies projected onto the stage during the show.

The panto has been produced by Hillingdon Council in partnershi­p with DK ProDuKtion­s.

Councillor Douglas Mills, cabinet member for community at Hillingdon Council, said: “We are delighted to be helping in the production of Snow White. Expect an exciting show, filled with great songs and laughter, as well as being great value and supporting the Compass Theatre.

“The show will have elements in it unique to the local audience, so be prepared for plenty of surprises. We would also like to invite you to take part in our Magic Mirror Selfie Competitio­n, so send in your magical photograph­s now.”

Photos should be emailed to fstenning@ hillingdon.gov.uk with ‘Magic Mirror Selfie’ in the subject heading. Entry is free, and the competitio­n closes at 5pm on November 28.
