Brian McFadden to switch on Uxbridge lights

THE festive season is kicking off with the Uxbridge Town Parade & Light Switch On on Sunday, with lots of fun taking place at intu Uxbridge for all shoppers to enjoy.

The Uxbridge lights will be turned on by Brian McFadden.

The former Westlifetlife star will then lead the parade arade through town from rom 3.30pm, with youngung shoppers bringing ng along their lanterns ns created at intu tu Uxbridge last ast weekend in their free ree crafts workshop, hop, before the lights are switched on at 4.30pm, .30pm, after which Brianan will meet fans.

Mischievous and bouncing elves, Christmas belles and Jack Frost on stilts, will be spreading the Christmas cheer throughout the centre from 1.30pm, with the festive evening finishing with carol singing in The Piazza at 5pm.

Natas Natasha Hous House , Marketing Manager at intu Uxbridge, said “The Christmas Parade and Light Switch On officially marks the start of the festive season for us here at intu Uxbridge.

“There’s plenty more fun coming our shopper’s way right up until Christmas Eve, and not to be missed.”

Weekend Christmas Crafts are coming to the shopping centre from November 28 with free activities for younger shoppers every weekend from 11am to 5pm until December 20.

The fun includes Santa crafts, Christmas hat and stocking decorating and

it’s free T-shirt printing.

And for grown-up shoppers, there’s plenty of time to squeeze in the gift shopping this year, as intu Uxbridge will be opening their doors until 8pm Monday to Saturday from December 1.
