Have fun at dog’s day

DOGS Trust Harefield is inviting dog lovers and their four-leggedfrie­nds to join them for their annual Fun Day, with a canine competitio­n and fun for all ages.

Taking place at the re-homing centre on Harvil Road, on Sunday from 10.30am-4pm, the event promises plenty of fun and games for everyone with the ever popular fun dog show topping the bill.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes will have the chance to compete in a number of categories including ‘waggiest tail’, ‘best rescue dog’ and ‘cutest crossbreed’.

Other highlights include have-a-go agility, children’s games and face-painting, plus a tombola and raffle, with the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

There will also be a variety of Dogs Trust merchandis­e to buy and delicious refreshmen­ts to enjoy.

Sian Bourn, Dogs Trust Harefield Supporter Relations Officer, said: “We are delighted to be hosting another annual fun day.

“It’s a fantastic opportunit­y to meet local dog lovers and raise pounds for the hounds in our care.

“We are very much in need of donations for our grand raffle as well as bottles of wine, gift sets and prizes for our doggy tombola.

“If you have any items you would like to donate, please feel free to drop by the re-homing centre, all donations will be gratefully received.”

Entry to the event is £3 per adult, £2 for children and OAPs.
