Help cat owner find her beloved Lola, last seen in park

-

A DEVASTATED catowner hopes her beloved pet can be found, after she went missing in Hillingdon.

Seven-month-old Lola the cat was last seen at Hillingdon Court Park on Thursday May 26.

Her owner, Jacinta Mussett, lives in Chestwood Grove and has been devastated and in tears since losing Lola.

She said: “Unfortunately my daughter had a friend round for the evening, and I was in my room reading a book and I didn’t know, they took the cat over to the park for a walk and the cat ran away.

“She’s never been out before so she wouldn’t know her way back.

“Lola is a family pet but I’m more upset than anyone else.

“We’ve had her since December and I’ve been round all the local houses, knocking on doors, handing out posters, stopping people out walking their dog, posting on Facebook sites and contacting the RSPCA and Cats Protection.

“She’s microchipped so if she’s handed in anywhere she will be flagged up as missing so I’m just hoping someone hands her in.”

Lola doesn’t wear a collar but she has some stand-out features, her front right paw has got a lot of beige around the toes and around her chin.

Ms Mussett said: “She’s quite distinctive because she’s dark brown and light brown and has brown eyes.

“She’s very playful and friendly so I would imagine she’s probably gone up to somebody and maybe taken her in.

“I’ve been told that if she was found dead I’d be told because of the microchip – I haven’t heard any bad news so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that somebody has her.”

If you think you’ve seen Lola or have any information, please call Jacinta on 07495046330 or email her on cintmussett@btinternet.
