Richings in great form

RICHINGS Park bowlers enjoyed a couple of great wins at the weekend.

They got the ball rolling with a 90-64 victory over Cippenham with Jim Richardson, Dagun Burt and Denise Newport winning by 20 shots to 10 in Park’s top rink.

Richings Park had an even bigger win 24 hours later against Ladygate, winning by an impressive 123-75 margin. Cyril Dean, Denise Newport and Gary Dear laid the foundations for the victory by winning their rink 32 shots to 4. Susan Puttock, George Aldridge and Jeff Jacobs also comfortably won their triple 29-12.
