SOUTHLANDSLIVE 2016 tickets go on sale this week a month ahead of the West Drayton music festival, which takes place in the idyllic grounds of Southlands Arts Centre just off The Green, Swan Road, West Drayton, on Saturday July 16.

A vibrant mixture of original and cover bands make this event a highlight of Hillingdon borough’s summertime music scene.

The music spans from 1pm until 9pm with an impressive line up of local melodic talent.

On the bill are indie rockers Cara Cara from Hertfordshire; West Drayton’s metal grunge punks Bird Brain Mafia; soulful covers and originals from Band of King; The Napiers have an unplugged set of near forgotten gems from the vaults of pop music; The Music In Mind charity make an appearance in the form of Eva Okwonga and friends; indie soul brothers Salt hail from Beaconsfield; indie prog pop sounds come in the form of West London’s The Lodgers; and last, but not least, West Drayton’s very own seasoned three piece covers outfit known as Undersound.

There will be stalls of all kinds on site such as food and drink vendors, as well as clothes and general festival stalls.

Ticket prices are £8 for adults, £5.50 for under-14s and a family ticket (two adults and two children) will cost just £22.

You can buy your ticket either from the Southlands Facebook page or the www.southlandsarts.co.uk website. A limited amount of tickets can be purchased at the No 46 sandwich and coffee bar in Station Road, West Drayton.
