Some­one put an ele­phant on the stairs. Some­one’s not ready to talk. Some­one is her brother’s mother. Some­one hates ir­ra­tional num­bers. Some­one told the po­lice. Some­one got a mes­sage from the traf­fic light. Some­one’s never felt like this be­fore.

Di­rected by Sher­rill Gow pre­pare to join the com­pany in an ex­plo­ration of what love and in­for­ma­tion means to us to­day. Suit­able for ages 11+. £5, 8pm. Satur­day Au­gust 13

Page To Stage: A one-day fes­ti­val of new drama pro­duced by writ­ers, ac­tors, and di­rec­tors at City Lit.

These nine 15 minute plays are the cul­mi­na­tion of City Lit’s Page to Stage Pro­fes­sional Devel­op­ment Pro­gramme and will show­case work be­ing pro­duced by its cre­ative writ­ing and drama de­part­ments.

Four plays will be cho­sen to be part of Scribbles, a three night run at the Court­yard Theatre (18 - 20 Au­gust).

The plays will be bro­ken up into three sec­tions with in­ter­vals and awards to fol­low the fi­nal show. For ages 16+ £14, show 1 3pm, show 2 4.15pm, show 3 and award cer­e­mony 6.15pm.
