Science boost at international school
State-of-the-art centre will allow ACS to ‘continue to deliver a first-class education’
A SCHOOL has unveiled its plans for a state-ofthe art science centre, as well as welcoming its new head teacher.
ACS Hillingdon International School has celebrated the groundbreaking of a multi-million pound school development project, including a cutting-edge science centre, as well as a new library and technology facilities.
With construction under way, the developments will enable the school to expand the education opportunities on offer.

“The new science facilities will enable and inspire curious minds to delve deeper and provide students with the best preparation for university and highly successful careers in science.”
ACS Hillingdon also welcomed a new head teacher this academic year.
Diane Hren has worked within ACS International Schools for more than 10 years and will oversee the completion and opening of the new development project.
Moving to ACS Hillingdon from her role as head of programmes at ACS, Diane has also been deputy head of school at sister campus ACS Cobham in Surrey and, more recently, head of school at ACS Doha International School in Qatar.
Ms Hren said: “As a longstanding member of the ACS community, I am thrilled to be joining ACS Hillingdon as head of school at this exciting time.
“Investing in our education offering will enable us to continue to deliver a first class international education – something for which the school is renowned.
