Reds provide the charm to tame Vipers

-

LENNY Anene was the four-goal hero as West Drayton Explorers U9 Reds took the venom out of Chalfont Vipers on Sunday.

Kasey Davenport also hit a hattrick, while Oliver Longley bagged a brace and keeper Naod Ermais saved a penalty as Explorers won 9-3.

Man of the match Kajus Cepas was another to hit four goals, but his efforts, along with a Lukas Darzinskas strike, were not enough for the U7 Blues as they lost 7-5 to Windsor Osprey Blues, despite leading with five minutes to go.

Two goals apiece from Jay Fitzgerald and Rokas Darzinskas, plus one each from Samuel Tekle and man of the match Finn Murphy, earned the U10 Purples a 6-2 win over Burnham Junior Yellows, but the U10 Blues lost 5-0 to a good Taplow United Youth side.

The U12s let slip a two-goal lead given to them through Aiden Edwards and star man Joseph Davies to draw 2-2 at Burnham Reds, while the U13s went down 5-3 at Old Windsor Tigers, despite Lewis Scott, Amari Adams and Alfie Taylor all netting.

Man of the match Daniel Mickale grabbed a double, with Kennedy Kithinji and Ava Lyon on target too, in a 7-4 reverse for the U8 Blues to Burnham Junior Whites, while the U16s, having started with just 10 men and then lost another three to injury, were beaten 6-3 by Bourne End JSC, with goals coming from Jack Fowler, Neige Ngonga-Mbambe and Charlie Rogers.
