Reds pro­vide the charm to tame Vipers

LENNY Anene was the four-goal hero as West Dray­ton Ex­plor­ers U9 Reds took the venom out of Chal­font Vipers on Sun­day.

Kasey Daven­port also hit a hat­trick, while Oliver Longley bagged a brace and keeper Naod Er­mais saved a penalty as Ex­plor­ers won 9-3.

Man of the match Ka­jus Cepas was an­other to hit four goals, but his ef­forts, along with a Lukas Darzin­skas strike, were not enough for the U7 Blues as they lost 7-5 to Wind­sor Osprey Blues, de­spite lead­ing with five min­utes to go.

Two goals apiece from Jay Fitzger­ald and Rokas Darzin­skas, plus one each from Sa­muel Tekle and man of the match Finn Mur­phy, earned the U10 Pur­ples a 6-2 win over Burn­ham Ju­nior Yel­lows, but the U10 Blues lost 5-0 to a good Taplow United Youth side.

The U12s let slip a two-goal lead given to them through Ai­den Ed­wards and star man Joseph Davies to draw 2-2 at Burn­ham Reds, while the U13s went down 5-3 at Old Wind­sor Tigers, de­spite Lewis Scott, Amari Adams and Al­fie Tay­lor all net­ting.

Man of the match Daniel Mickale grabbed a dou­ble, with Kennedy Kithinji and Ava Lyon on tar­get too, in a 7-4 re­verse for the U8 Blues to Burn­ham Ju­nior Whites, while the U16s, hav­ing started with just 10 men and then lost an­other three to in­jury, were beaten 6-3 by Bourne End JSC, with goals com­ing from Jack Fowler, Neige Ngonga-Mbambe and Char­lie Rogers.
