Ruislip win is elusive

RUISLIP RFC are still searching for their first win of the season after going down to a fourth straight loss on Saturday.

The West End Road side came close to halting the run of defeats, however, losing just 28-24 to Letchworth Garden City in London One North.

In London Three NW, Old Merchant Taylor’s were drubbed 48-0 at high-flying Hackney, while bottom side Hillingdon Abbots allowed visitors Hendon a walkover in their Herts/Middx One clash.

Uxbridge are also propping up Herts/ Middx Two after completing a miserable pictures for the borough’s rugby clubs with a 55-5 home defeat to Thamesians.
