-

SENAY Mahdere hit a hat-trick as West Drayton Explorers U10 Purples beat Burnham Junior Whites 6-2 on Sunday – with Finn Murphy, Rokas Batrusaitis and man of the match Jay Fitzgerald sharing the other goals.

Odeiro Brand was both hat-trick hero and man of the match as the U8 Reds won 6-3 at Taplow Youth, with Dominic Goncalves bagging two and Aleks Kovalenko getting in on the act too.

Oliver Longley repeated the feat with a treble and man of the match award in the U9s Reds’ 7-0 win at Holyport, in which Lenny Anene added a couple while Kasey Davenport and Hasnain Riaz rounded off the scoring.

Explorers’ other hat-trick hero at the weekend was Charlie Penil, who struck three in the U10 Reds’ 8-0 win over Boyne Hill, in which Joe Rossiter and Harry Todd both bagged braces, and star man Tristan Villacrusis netted too, while goals from Reece Butler, Alfie Stevens and Godwin Usifo earned the U11s a 3-0 win at Celtic Youth in only their second 11 a side game.

The U7s and U10 Blues both drew 2-2, Kajus Cepas and man of the match Armondio Moriero on target for the former against Taplow Youth, while Elliot Tackley and Alberto Rodriguez-Owens earned the latter a share of the spoils at KS Griyf.

But goals from Armari Adams and Jayden Blackwood were not enough to prevent a 7-3 defeat to LPOSSA for the U13s, while Ayub Raabi and Charlie Rogers strikes proved to be consolations as the U16s went down 8-2 at Spartans.
