Hit and run damage
Elderly woman injured as driver hits three cars
A WOMAN in her late 70s was injured in Ruislip on Saturday October 8 after her car was hit by a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene.
The incident happened at around 11.55pm in Queens Walk.
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries which are not said to be serious.
According to a witness the woman’s car was badly damaged however, along with two parked cars.
The vehicle which failed to stop at the scene is reported to be an old, light-coloured or possibly silver Mercedes E-Class.
A witness said: “[The Mercedes] rear ended an elderly lady at quite a speed. Her car span and hit my parked car which in turn hit the car in front of mine.
“We called an ambulance for the elderly driver who was shaken and confused.
“Her car is totalled, mine is undrivable and the car in front of mine suffered cosmetic damage.”
No arrests have been made and police say that enquiries are ongoing.
