Adams leads the way

AMARI Adams led the goal fest for West Dray­ton Explorers U13s as they hit dou­ble fig­ures in a league cup win over FC Chip­pen­ham at the week­end.

Adams hit four in the 10-3 drub­bing which saw dou­bles for Jay­den Black­wood and Al­fie Tay­lor, one each for Hu­nayn Ab­bas Ali Zaidi and Flynn Withers. Gurvir Rat­tan was named man of the match.

There was smooth cup progress too for the U12s who clipped the wings of Golden Ea­gles 6-0 thanks to hat-trick man Joseph Davies and one each from Sa­muel Spasov, Adam Devin and Kian Ed­wards.

The U10 Blues also hit six in beat­ing BJ Leop­ards Yel­lows 6-1, Al­berto Ro­driguezOwens and Ciaran West both bag­ging dou­bles, while Christopher Bur­ton and Kai Barham were also on tar­get.

Finn Mur­phy, Se­nay Mahdere and Tyler Pal­frey were the men on the mark for the U10 Pur­ples as they despatched Chal­font Saints 3-0, keeper Patrick Hickey tak­ing the man of the match hon­ours for a string of im­pres­sive saves.

And com­plet­ing a trio of great re­sults in this age-group the U10 Reds also won an en­ter­tain­ing game against Taplow United 3-2, thanks to Ethan Cupido’s dou­ble and one for Joe Ros­siter.

The U8 Reds won not once but twice in the Devel­op­ment Cup, a hat-trick for Odeiro Brand and one from Aleks Kove­lenko beat­ing Singh Sabba 4-1 be­fore an Har­ri­son Naughton goal sealed a 1-0 suc­cess over Boyne Hill Bul­lets.

This feat was matched by the U8 Blues who saw off S4K Bears 3-0 with goals from Daniel Mickale, Natu Yo­hannes and Ava Lyon be­fore win­ning aa tighter af­fair with Wind­sor Owl Whites 3-2, Yo­hannes scor­ing twice and Lyon once.

Aman­dio Mor­eiro was a two-goal hero for the U7s in their 4-1 Devel­op­ment Cup suc­cess at Taplow where Filip Pon­ski and Ka­jus Cepas were also on the mark.

This fol­lowed a 1-0 win over De­laford, Lucas Darzin­skas get­ting the goal there.

The U11s were the other win­ners, Joe Fer­nan­dez scor­ing as they beat Bess­ingby Park Rangers 1-0, but there were de­feats for the U9s, U15s and U16s.
