Would you fit the bill at the Crown and Treaty?

Hayes FM presenter Hughie Dixon reviews the live band scene

-

CALLING out to Hillingdon’s original bands and singer songwriters. Hayes FM and Tropical TV are putting on an event on Thursday November 24 at The Crown and Treaty pub, in Oxford Road, Uxbridge, and we’re looking for around two more acts to complete the bill.

The event is to be recorded for radio and broadcast on a live stream and in real time to www. tropicalfm.com,tropicalfm com which is an online music promotions TV channel.

The lineup as it stands runs thus:

9pm – Sectioned. An emotional songwriting duo from Slough.

10pm – Holy Faction. Psychedelic, spaced out punk rockers with a Hawkwind/Gong style edge. 11pm – Polly Pikpocketz

(pictured). A female fronted five piece of pop/punk excellence.

All that is needed now is one or two openers for the night. Whether you are in a band, duo or a solo performer you can contact me (Hughie Roi Dixon) on Facebook and tell me about your act. If the bill is already filled we at Hayes FM are always on the lookout for fresh talent to showcase on the airwaves.

Be sure to tune into my interactive HayesFM radio show every Tuesday at 8pm to hear live and original performers, plus great tunes, chat and more local live music news. You can find HayesFM on 91.8fm in London or globally on www.hayesfm.org.uk.
