Pritchard hits four in 12-3 rout of Rhinos

-

BRANDON Pritchard led the hunt for goals as West Drayton Explorers under-15s stampeded Boyle Hill Rhinos on Sunday.

Pritchard bagged four as Explorers clocked up a dozen in a 12-3 win, Aran Brar weighing in with a hat-trick and Denis Ziaja two plus one apiece for Abiodun Adeyemi, Jeshan Jayatheeswaran and Xhulio Hyseni.

The U9s could not quite match the scoring spree of their older clubmates but they had silverware as reward for their efforts, lifting the Development Cup courtesy of a 4-2 win over S4K Eagles.

Man of the match Lenny Anene laid claim to the match-ball after notching a hat-trick, with Yousef Islam the other youngster on the scoresheet.

The U11s also had their shooting boots on as they trounced AFC Wembley 7-1. Ramvier Jamgotre was at the double in victory with the other goals shared between Reece Butler, Alfie Stevens, Godwin Usifo, Cruz Ojo and Steely Howell Burton.

Armari Adams was another hattrick man for Explorers, his treble coming in the U13s’ 4-1 win over Burnham Junior Yellows. Jayden Blackwood was Explorers’ other scorer while Xhafer Kurti was named man of the match.

The U12 Reds were made to work harder for their win this week, Rayyan Belfron Murray and Joseph Davies bagging braces and man of the match Adam Devlin the other goaslscorer as they overcame Burnham Whites 5-3.

The U16s, meanwhile, had a clean sheet to celebrate along with a win as they saw off Prestwood Colts 3-0; Charlie Rogers, Zubair Naseri and man of the match Ted O’ Brien the goalscorers.

Two more teams to enjoy that winning feeling were the U8 reds and the U10 Blues.

The former clipped the wings of the Golden Eagles 3-1 thanks to strikes from Oderio Brand, Aleks Kovalenko and Dominic Goncalves, while Alberto Rodriguez-Owens’ double saw the latter squeeze past BJ Leopards Whites 2-1.

The U10 Reds emphatically took the bragging rights in their battle with the U10 Purples, winning 10-1.

Tristan Villacrusis’ treble led the goal glut while Charlie Penil and Euan Hlubanyana both hit doubles with the other goals coming via Joe Rossiter, Harry Todd and Ethan Cupido.

The U7s, though, lost an 11goal thriller with Chalfont Saints 6-5, despite Filip Ponski’s double and one for Amadio Moreira, while the U8 Blues lost heavily at Burnham Reds.
