Dog sniffs out £10k in bush
PD WOLFE DISCOVERS STASH THROWN AWAY BY SUSPECT DURING POLICE CHASE
A HUGE wad of cash has been uncovered following a dramatic police foot chase in Hillingdon .
At least £10,000 was found stashed inside a plastic bag which had been thrown under a shrub by the suspect.
It was recovered by Ealing police officers and their loyal and outstanding four-legged partner.
The image shows a mammoth amount of cash which contained stacks of £5 and £20 notes was sniffed out by PD (police dog) Wolfe.
A message was posted on Twitter of the incident on Wednesday September 6.
@MetTaskforce tweeted: “Following a foot chase in MPSHillingdon by ealingMPS officers PD Wolfe found about £10,000 discarded by the suspect.”
The Gazette has approached police for further comment.
