Dog sniffs out £10k in bush

A HUGE wad of cash has been un­cov­ered fol­low­ing a dra­matic po­lice foot chase in Hilling­don .

At least £10,000 was found stashed in­side a plas­tic bag which had been thrown un­der a shrub by the sus­pect.

It was re­cov­ered by Eal­ing po­lice of­fi­cers and their loyal and out­stand­ing four-legged part­ner.

The im­age shows a mam­moth amount of cash which con­tained stacks of £5 and £20 notes was sniffed out by PD (po­lice dog) Wolfe.

A mes­sage was posted on Twit­ter of the in­ci­dent on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 6.

@MetTask­force tweeted: “Fol­low­ing a foot chase in MPSHilling­don by eal­ingMPS of­fi­cers PD Wolfe found about £10,000 dis­carded by the sus­pect.”

The Gazette has ap­proached po­lice for fur­ther com­ment.
