Two hurt in three car crash

A WOMAN is in hospi­tal and a man had to be res­cued from in­side his car fol­low­ing a three-car rush hour col­li­sion in Hayes.

Met­ro­pol­i­tan Po­lice and Lon­don Am­bu­lance Ser­vice rushed to the scene of the crash in Kingsway shortly af­ter 8am on Mon­day Septem­ber 11.

Lon­don Fire Brigade had to be called out to res­cue a man who had been trapped in­side his own car as a re­sult of the crash.

A woman had to be taken to a west Lon­don hospi­tal for treat­ment to her in­juries which po­lice de­scribed as non life-threat­en­ing or like-chang­ing.

The col­li­sion hap­pened near the junc­tion with the busy West Dray­ton road near Hayes Recre­ation Ground.

Kingsway was closed to traf­fic in both di­rec­tions and traf­fic was heavy on roads lead­ing up to the road as well as West Dray­ton Road and Uxbridge Road.

The H98 bus route was also op­er­at­ing on di­ver­sion around the scene of the crash.
