TEENAGER STABBED IN FIGHT OUTSIDE PUB

POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGAT­ION FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER AFTER 18-YEAR-OLD ATTACKED OUTSIDE HAYES PUB

SHOCKING CCTV footage has been released by police after a teenager was stabbed following a fight outside a pub in Hayes .

The images show two men attacking the victim near a road while members of the public look on.

The teenager is in a serious condition in hospital, the Metropolit­an Police said.

The 18-year-old was stabbed twice outside Music Box in Bourne Avenue late on Friday September 8.

One of the wounds in his back punctured his kidney, liver, lung and a major artery and he remains in a serious condition in an east London hospital.

He also suffered a second wound to his upper right arm, which went to the bone. Police were called to the scene outside the pub at around 10.39pm and have launched an attempted murder investigat­ion, but have not yet made any arrests.

Police are appealing for informatio­n about the two men in the video, who are wanted for questionin­g.

The first suspect was wearing lightcolou­red trousers and a grey hooded top at the time, while suspect two is described as a white man with short dark hair, wearing dark coloured trousers and a darker coloured top.

DC Emma Brookes, from Hillingdon CID, said: “We are keen to identify the men in the CCTV footage who appear to attack the victim in a violent and sustained attack. We would also urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.”

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
