Another victim of the cat killer
ANOTHER suspected victim of the UK Cat Killer, thought to be responsible for more than 300 animal deaths, has been discovered in Northolt.
The body of a tortoiseshell cat was found by members of the public in the UB5 5 area of Northolt on Monday October 16.
The unidentified cat was reported to the RSPCA, which took her to an animal hospital in Putney, where South Norwood Animal Rescue and Liberty (SNARL) saw the victim.
The cat was confirmed to be yet another one of more than 300 victims of a notorious cat serial killer.
A spokesman for SNARL said: “This cat was definitely a victim of the Cat Killer but different to some of the others. “He had his head and front paws missing when we went to see him. “Northolt seems to be becoming a favourite area for him, which is something we have seen happen before. “The cat killer sometimes carries out a string of crimes in a particular area over a period of a few months before moving on.” The charity first became aware of the serial cat killer’s operations in Croydon around two years ago and has been working on the cases since then. Their campaigning resulted in Metropolitan Police launching Operation Takahe specifically aimed at dealing with the UK Cat Killer.
