NETFLIX has made a name for itself in digging out sleeper hits, and last year’s Stranger Things proved no exception.

Overnight, the charming little series which was part X Files, part IT, part Stand By Me, achieved cult-like status.

The campaign leading up to the new series has been very clever, the last poster being issued ahead of the release being a homage to much-loved 80s movie The Goonies, above.

Fans have just hours to wait, as every episode of season two hits the streaming site on October 27 from 8am.
