ENLIGHT VIDEOLEAP (IOS, free with in app purchases)

-

ENLIGHT is on a roll at the moment, with a pair of cracking photo editing apps (Photofox, and Quickshot), and, of course, the musthave app for the selfie generation, Facetune.

Now it is turning its attention to a field that’s almost as crowded as the photo editing app space – video editing.

Apple’s own iMovie is about as fully-featured as most would need in a video editor, but if you’re after something with a few more features that is just as easy to use, Videoleap is worth a look, especially if you’re already familiar with how Enlight’s photo editing apps work. One of Videoleap’s coolest features is its ability to overlay two videos on top of each other, then blend them together using the Mixer tool. Some amazing effects can be generated.

It’s simple to put a quick edit together, and, as you would expect with the makers of Photofox, plenty of filters to give your video a different look. If you want something unique, a monthly subscription of £3.49 will open up extra editing options and from there the sky is your limit.

Pro results and a simple interface are sometimes a hard double act to get working togethe, but Videoleap pulls it off with style.
