THE annual Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) plant sale is back next month courtesy of the hospice’s award-winning, green-fingered volunteer team, who regularly donate their time, talent and love-of-all-things gardening to help maintain the grounds of the Northwood-based hospice – come rain or shine.

An array of bedding plants, flowers, herbs, bird food, vegetables and homemade preserves will be available to buy on the day for gardening enthusiast­s, as well as, top tips from plant savvy gardeners ‘in-the-know’ returns on Saturday May 12, 10am-12.30pm,

“We are appealing for any gardening donations for our forthcomin­g plant sale,” explained Michael Sobell Hospice Charity spokespers­on Vanessa Howden-Smith.

“If you are able to make a donation in aid of the hospice, please kindly dropoff your items to the charity office (Gate 3, off White Hill, WD3 1PZ) between 9am and 5pm, in the run-up to the event and ideally by Wednesday May 9 if at all possible. Thank you so much in advance of your support.”

Free entry and free parking is available on-site on the day and there will be refreshmen­ts including homemade cakes available to buy and enjoy.
