THE great outdoors isn’t for everyone, as some of our animals prove...

Indoor cats looking for loving homes

Sammie is one of several indoor cats we have looking for the comforts of a new home and the love of a family to call his own.

This handsome black and white boy is just two years old and can appear a little quiet at first, but he loves a fuss and being groomed.

Sammie would prefer a fairly calm household, so would be best with adults and older children only. He may be able to live with another cat.

To keep them happy and healthy, house cats need plenty of indoor space to exercise and toys / games to keep them entertained and prevent them from becoming bored, stressed or overweight.

Remember cats that live only indoors don’t have the freedom to interact with other people / animals, so you will become their main companion – make plenty of time to interact with them. Our animal welfare staff are always happy to provide advice on meeting the needs of indoor cats.

If there is a Sammie-shaped space in your heart and home, or you have love and snuggles to offer any of our indoor cats, we’d love to hear from you.

Can you help keep our kittens entertained?

It’s that time of year again, and kittens have started to arrive at our homing centre. These playful little bundles would really appreciate any donations of scratching posts and toys to provide much needed entertainment and stimulation while they are here with us.

If you are able to help, any items can be dropped in to our Hillingdon Clinic or one of our charity shops in Hillingdon, Ashford (Middx) or Cippenham. Many thanks!
