Young man treated for multiple stab wounds
A YOUNG man who was stabbed multiple times during an attack in Uxbridge on Monday (May 28) suffered injuries not thought to be lifethreatening.
At around 2.44pm, police in Hillingdon were called to Violet Avenue following reports of a stabbing.
Police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service arrived along with an air ambulance and found a man in his 20s suffering multiple stab injuries at the scene.
He was airlifted to hospital, where he was treated for injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening, a police spokesman said on Tuesday (May 29).
No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate the stabbing.
Traffic was diverted away from the area while a police cordon and crime scene remained in place throughout Monday afternoon.
A police spokesman said: “Officers and London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended and found a man in his twenties suffering from stab wounds.
“He has been airlifted to hospital. No arrests have been made.”

Police were called to the Sainsbury’s, in Long Drive, at 1.15pm on Saturday (May 26) following reports of a collision between a car and two pedestrians.
Officers attended and found two female pedestrians injured.
The first woman, aged 64, was taken to hospital with critical injuries. She died on Sunday morning from her injuries.
Her next of kin have been informed. The second woman, aged in her fifties, was discharged with minor injuries.
The driver, an 86-year-old man, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
He was arrested for failing to provide a specimen but after being taken to a police station and assessed he was then released under investigation. Enquiries continue with officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command leading the investigation.
