Gradually warming Brandy

-

BRANDY is a lovely little girl, just longing to be at the centre of someone’s world. This 4 year old longhaired Chihuahua came into our care because her owners had too many pets to look after and she is sad and confused to find herself in kennels.

Our little lady is a typical Chihuahua and would benefit from a home with toy dog experience who understands the breed characteristics. Brandy loves to get out and about on walks and gets on well with other dogs. She will need regular grooming to keep that lovely coat in good condition, and some work may be needed on house training.

Being a little apprehensive, Brandy hasn’t done well with viewings but we know the right person will be able to see beyond the nervous little dog and recognise the love she has to offer. With time and patience to restore her confidence, we’re sure Brandy will become a devoted companion. Could you be Brandy’s special person?

Black Magic

With those mesmerising eyes, enchanting two-year-old Magic is hoping to cast a spell over someone who can offer him a peaceful and loving home. He’s a quiet boy but loves a good fuss and being groomed. Having previously lived as an indoor cat, he will need a home which can offer plenty of space to exercise and lots to do to keep him healthy and happy. Magic may be able to live with another cat and would be fine with calm older chil- dren.

If our Magic has you bewitched and you can make his wishes come true, please get in touch.

Shop launch – June 1

Fitting out of our new charity shop at 2 Station Parade, Denham Green, UB9 5ET is going well and we’re looking forward to opening on 1st June and greeting lots of new customers.

We look forward to lots of people showing their support by popping in to say hello and hopefully picking up a bargain or two! Any items of unwanted good quality clothing, bric a brac, household items, books, DVD’s and toys would be gratefully received – many thanks to those who have already dropped off donations.

Dogs Die in Hot Cars

Many people still believe it’s OK to leave a dog in a car if the windows are left open or they’re parked in the shade but it’s still a very dangerous situation for the dog. A car can become as hot as an oven very quickly, even when it doesn’t feel that warm. When it’s 22 degrees, in a car it can reach an unbearable 47 degrees within the hour. If you see a dog in distress in a hot car, dial 999.

If you can offer a loving home to any an animals, call 01895 833417 or see www.rspcahillingdonclinic.org
