Trio of adorable kittens left for dead in Feltham alleyway

A TRIO of adorable kittens have been dumped inside a plastic box down an alleyway in Feltham.

The cats, who are around 10-12 weeks old, were found abandoned in Danesbury Road, in the area of Hounslow, on Wednesday (February 12).

There was no note left to explain why they had been left and they had no food or water.

RSPCA inspector Natalie Kitchin, who came to the rescue, said: “These poor little kittens have been abandoned in a storage box and left in an alleyway.

“It’s difficult to know why they were abandoned, whether their owners could no longer cope or they were an unexpected litter but there is never an excuse to abandon an animal in this way.

“We understand that circumstan­ces can change which means people may be unable to look after their pets but there are other options and help available to those who are struggling.”

A MAN was rushed to hospital after being found injured in Hounslow town centre.

Several police and ambulance vehicles were seen on Stained Road at around 10.30pm on Sunday (February 23) as officers and paramedics treated the man.

Images show the man was treated near to Ladbrokes, on Staines Road.

The Metropolit­an Police confirmed the man had not been attacked and said it instead was a mental health issue.

A London Ambulance Service spokespers­on said: “We were called at 10.30pm yesterday (February 23) to reports of an incident on Bath Road, Hounslow.

“We dispatched an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, two medics in cars and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance trauma team in a a girl named Lucy, were dirty and smelly when they were taken to RSPCA Millbrook Animal Centre in Surrey for some much needed care and attention. They are now being looked after before they are ready to be rehomed. “If anyone has any informatio­n about how these kittens came to be abandoned, please contact the inspectora­te appeal line on 0300 123 8018,” Natalie added. One witness told MyLondon the area was cordoned off while emergency services were there.

The man was reportedly taken to hospital within 20 minutes of ambulance crews arriving.

Images taken at the time of the incident show the heavy emergency services presence on Staines Road.

Several ambulance and police vehicles could be seen parked on the road near to Ladbrokes.

Paramedics were pictured treating the injured man, who was taken to hospital via ambulance.

It comes after a man was stabbed in nearby Bell Road at 3.55am last Tuesday (February 18).

The victim, aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries have since been described as non life-threatenin­g.
