Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) Temporary road closure – Princes Road, Feltham

1. The London Borough of Hounslow hereby gives Notice that in connection with statutory works, in Princes Road, Feltham, it intends to make an Order to: a. prohibit vehicles from proceeding in the length of Princes Road between the boundary of Nos 74 and 76, and a point 24 metres south-east (between the hours of 8am and 6pm); b. impose no waiting and no loading “at any time” restrictio­ns on both sides of Princes Road between Princes Road between the boundary of Nos 74 and 76, and a point 24 metres south-east, while works are in progress; 2. The Order would come into operation at 8am on 18 October 2021 and will remain in force for a period of six months, to allow for unexpected delays and possible remedial works. The works are expected to be complete by 6pm on 24 October 2021. 3. The above prohibitio­n shall only apply during such times and to such

extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs. 4. Nothing in the Order shall apply to: a. any vehicle being used in connection with the said works; b. anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a police

constable in uniform or an accredited person; c. emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of

any emergency 5. Traffic would be diverted via Avenue Road, Percival Road and Vernon Road, and the same in reverse. As far as is reasonably practicabl­e, given the nature of the works, vehicular access is to be maintained for local residents (under the direction of an accredited person). 6. Any vehicle waiting in contravent­ion of any restrictio­n imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicle Regulation­s 1986.
