Frustration about woman feeding cats in dead of night

RESIDENTS CLAIM MYSTERY WOMAN HAS BEEN PUTTING OUT CAT FOOD ON GOLFLINKS ESTATE FOR TWO YEARS

WEST London residents are becoming frustrated with a mysterious cat feeder who they claim has been feeding felines in the area for nearly two years.

The woman is said to often arrive in the dead of night, stand outside gates of the selected houses and put down cat food for the residents’ pets.

Despite putting up signs and trying to discourage the cat feeder, they say that she keeps on returning to the Ealing addresses.

Multiple reports from residents living in the Golflinks estate, Southall, Ealing, say that although she might feel she is doing a good deed it is “not good” for their furry friends.

One woman claimed that the cat feeder has been operating for over two years and that there is no pattern to her behaviour. There were also concerns about the woman’s intentions or if she is unwell.

Prishanka Amal, 37, Southall, Ealing, said: “She is sort of a local mystery and no one actually knows who she is, where she lives or why she is feeding cats in the area.

“I’ve lived here four years now and first heard about her just under two years ago.

leaving food outside their door.

“I don’t think there is bad intention from the lady but it is annoying because they already feed their cats and want to know what their pets are eating.

“The weirdest thing is that apparently she just disappears for months and returns randomly. I only know one person who has ever seen her in real life.” Despite the woman being hard to meet in person, CCTV images have caught a lady, who locals believe to be the cat feeder, placing white plates of food outside houses. Most recently the alleged cat feeder was caught holding a pouch of food and leaving it for cats next to some recycling bins. The cat feeder hasn’t caused many problems but the main worries are that locals’ pets will be overfed or given something they might not usually eat.

Pet owners are worried that this would affect their cats’ health.

They claim the woman doesn’t know enough about cats to be feeding them and could lead to their cats getting “fat” or having an “allergic reaction”.

The search for the West London cat feeder continues.
