A MASSIVE children’s park with a zoo and adventure play parks is due to open in west London this summer.

Hobbledown Heath will open in Hounslow on July 1, just in time for the summer holidays.

Spread over 126 acres, the play park is aimed at children between the ages of two and 13 and will feature three ‘villages’ for visitors to explore.

Hobbledown Heath will have an indoor activity centre, which will include play frames and a dedicated toddler area for kids to enjoy regardless of the weather.

The park will also have several outdoor zones which will provide interactive play for children, with the chance to explore sandpits, watery assault courses, labyrinths and secret passageways.

Visitors to Hobbledown will be able to visit the park’s zoo, where they will be able to see animals including lemurs, meerkats, yaks, alpaca and reindeer.

The park plans to put on regular keeper talks, animal walks and demonstrations with the animals, as well as with birds of prey they will introduce, including kestrels, owls and falcons.

Based on a fantasy children’s book of the same name, visitors to Hobbledown Heath will encounter a variety of characters roaming around.

The Hounslow park will be the second Hobbledown site in London, with the original play park located in Epsom. Rated an average of four stars on Tripadvisor, to date 464 visitors have rated Hobbledown Epsom “excellent”.

Branding the experience a “great value day out”, one visitor said: “Visited with 8yo and 4yo, was the perfect balance of things to do and animals to see, my two did not want to leave. We stayed from 10am till 5pm.”

Another visitor said: “Great fun for small children. Impressive adventure playgrounds, large enough to cope with many children at once.

“The place is a down to earth mix of great play opportunities with a few animal experiences. Staff were all very friendly and food is good.”

Hobbledown Heath will be located close to Hounslow Central station, with tickets starting from £15 per person.

Co-Founder of Hobbledown Heath Richard Farley said: “We are extremely excited to open to the public this July.

“Hobbledown Heath is all about creating an extraordinary day out and we can’t wait for families to join us this summer and experience something new.”
